Chocolate Cake and Keto Chocolate Buttercream - Keys Nutrition

Here is a great basic recipe for a chocolate cake, for a birthday or simply to celebrate with friends! All low in carbohydrates. 🎂🤎

Cake Ingredients:
• 5 eggs
• 1 C. tablespoon of vanilla
• 1 1/4 cups butter or coconut oil (available here)
• 1/2 cup sweetener (available here)
• 2 cups of coconut milk/cream (available here)
• 2 1/4 cups almond flour (available here)
• 3/4 cup coconut flour (available here)
• 1/2 cup pure cocoa powder (available here)
• 2 tbsp. teaspoon baking soda
• 2 tbsp. tsp Swerve powder (available here)
• 1/4 tsp. teaspoon of salt

Method :
Preheat the oven to 350F. Grease two 9" pans with parchment paper. Set aside. (if you only have one pan, you need to bake twice) In the food processor, whisk the eggs, butter or coconut oil , coconut milk/cream, sweetener and vanilla until smooth. In another bowl, combine the other dry ingredients. Add to the ingredients in the food processor and mix until the consistency of a nice cake batter. Mix again in the molds and bake for 45 to 50 minutes (a toothpick should come out clean) Cool completely.

*Note : You can also make cupcakes, you will need at least two 12-cavity muffin molds, for around fifteen cupcakes.


Ingredients Chocolate Buttercream:
• 1/3 cup pure cocoa powder (available here)
• 1/3 cup melted sugar-free dark chocolate chips (available here)
• 2 cups of Swerve powder (available here)
• 1/4 tsp. teaspoon of salt
• 1 1/2 cups softened butter
• 4 tbsp. tablespoon of cream 35%
.
Method :
ďťżIn a food processor, beat the butter until creamy. Add the other ingredients and finish with the spoons of 35% cream. Whisk again until the consistency of a nice icing. Set aside for dressing the cake or cupcakes.

Cake and cupcake assembly:
With a first cake batter, put buttercream in the center, add your second batter and cream all over. Add buttercream decorations or fruit if you want. For the cupcakes, you will need a pastry bag with a large fluted tip to make beautiful “rosasses” on the top. Otherwise, cream to your liking! 🧁🤎

Makes 16 tips or around fifteen cupcakes.
