Ingredients :
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 teaspoon of salt and pepper
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1/4 cup Walden Farms Original BBQ Sauce
- 4 slices light cheddar cheese, cut in half and folded
- 8 large Boston lettuce leaves
- 4 slices of bacon, cooked
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup Walden Farms Thousand Island Dressing
Instructions :
- Preheat the grill.
- Season the ground turkey with salt and pepper, then divide into 8 portions. Shape each portion into a half-inch-thick patty.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook turkey patties for 4 to 6 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Transfer patties to a foil-lined baking sheet.
- Brush each turkey patty with 1 tablespoon Walden Farms Original BBQ Sauce and top with a folded piece of cheese. Broil for 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbling.
- Serve each burger in a Boston lettuce leaf, topped with half a slice of bacon, diced tomatoes and onions.
- Drizzle with vinaigrette Thousand Island from Walden Farms on assembled lettuce leaves.
