Parmesan Chicken Wings

Here is a recipe for succulent Parmesan chicken wings made with organic virgin coconut oil.

Ingredients:

  • 24 chicken wings
  • 15 ml of tabasco
  • 250ml grated parmesan
  • 15 ml finely chopped fresh coriander

For the marinade

  • 15 ml of organic virgin coconut oil
  • 5 ml sweet smoked paprika
  • 5 ml lime juice
  • 2.5 ml cayenne pepper
  • 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
  • salt and pepper

Preparation:

  • In a bowl, mix the marinade ingredients
  • Place the chicken wings in a waterproof bag. Add the marinade and stir to coat the wings well with the marinade. Seal the bag and leave to marinate for 1 hour in the fridge.
  • When ready to cook, preheat the oven to 190C (375F)
  • Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, turning the wings halfway through cooking.
  • Meanwhile, mix the tabasco with the parmesan and coriander in another bowl.
  • Remove the wings from the oven. Brush the wings with the parmesan mixture.
  • Adjust the oven to 205C(400F)
  • Continue cooking in the oven for 15 minutes, until the inside of the flesh has lost its pink tint.
