VITOLI SLEEP – PRECAUTIONS
Side effects
The different ingredients of the Vitoli SOMMEIL product present little particular toxicity or
serious. However, some users have reported some side effects such as drowsiness, discomfort
headache, dizziness, depressive symptoms, decreased alertness, excitement, irritability, discomfort, or
mild gastrointestinal disturbances. The clinical information we currently have
show, however, that the Vitoli SOMMEIL product has undeniable effectiveness with a profile

health if serious allergy symptoms persist.
Contraindications
Given the possibility of drowsiness, driving or any other activity requiring
large concentration should be avoided, particularly within 4 to 6 hours of taking it. Melatonin
could be contraindicated in the presence of depression, diabetes, hepatic disorders and epilepsy, and with
NIFEDIPINE (= ADALAT trade name) (decreased effect of NIFEDIPINE). However, we believe
that cases of depression and diabetes should constitute cases of monitoring (and not strict contraindications) for which improving sleep could be greatly beneficial.
Interactions
Theoretically, the Vitoli SOMMEIL product could increase the sedative effect of alcohol, barbiturates,
benzodiazepines, any other tranquilizer, hypnotic or sedative, or even certain others
natural products such as kava, chamomile, lemon balm, etc.
Due to the presence of melatonin, the Vitoli SOMMEIL product could reduce the effectiveness of certain
medications for hypertension. However, it is also known that improved sleep and
Reducing stress and anxiety helps reduce blood pressure (monitoring case). It is also
recommended to avoid it during immunosuppressive treatment (melatonin could affect the function
immune).
Fluvoxamine and Melatonin: by inhibiting CYP1A2, fluvoxamine could increase, so
important, the plasma concentrations of Melatonin, therefore an increase in the effects
possible undesirables. Avoid, due to potential excessive drowsiness in the patient.
Olive quality extracts could lower blood pressure, improve glucose management and
reduce blood clotting. However, the dose used is the food dose consumed on average
in the Mediterranean diet and it is not linked to any significant interaction effects. Health Canada
did not report this risk as significant.
Pregnancy and breast feeding

Recommended to use if you or are breastfeeding.
Caution
The content of medicinal plants naturally varies depending on the production site or conditions
extraction. There is therefore a lot of variation in the composition of the ingredients available in a
brand of products to another. It is strongly recommended to use quality products, these

According to Health Canada (2016), the use of melatonin in children and adolescents
should be used with caution, although it is indeed used on occasion depending on
current data. This should only be done on the recommendation of a
healthcare professional.
